... is far too frequent for my liking. Was convinced this was going to be all sun, sand and sangria. We are equidistant from two beaches, both being roughly 1.5 hours away, it's RAINING and I've decided after two sips in Seville that Sangria and myself are not going to be the best of friends.
Currently on a ninety day stint in Seville, which is the South of Spain. I'm originally from a little town called Rochdale which is just a couple of miles shy from being indie (just outside Greater Manchester).
Rochdale does not have a lot to offer unless you like smoking excessive amounts of cannabis, so now I find myself many miles from home trying to understand what it is that I wish to do with my life, which is a task much harder than it seems. If anyone has any suggestions then feel free to email me.
Whilst it is sunny in my hometown, it is raining here and I am seeing that as pathetic fallacy as my mood is not one of a positive nature. I am in a mood and enjoying seclusion.
Today Seville is celebrating Andalusian day, which basically means no one goes into work or school. They don't really do much else apparently, it's more of an excuse to do nada. I am working as of current in a social media sector of a production company, which is quite enjoyable but means I have to branch myself out into new and exciting ways of self promotion in order to really get to grips with promotion and advertising online.
At this point I decided to make a blog, in addition to a Pintrest (that I do not understand), to an aboutme (which is the most pointless thing ever), to update my linkedin (a snooze) and so on.
In an ideal world I will finish my stint in Spain (roughly 22nd May) and there will be a journalism job at a really excitingly cosmopolitan magazine in Paris where I can live the Parisian lifestyle, become really fluent in French and exclusively wear striped clothes and red lippy, but if I went it would probably rain constantly and then how am I supposed to make everyone jealous with my instagram posts?
